Czechs find the world’s highest growing plant, measure the highest waterfall

Czech scientists have recently discovered what is believed to be the world’s highest growing plant. While carrying out research in the Ladakh region of the Himalayas, they came across six species of a tiny plant, no bigger than a coin, clinging to a gravel on Mount Shukule, at an elevation 6,150 metres above sea level, Radio Praha writes.

Eurostat: In Czech Republic 31% of turnover realised from e-sales

During 2015, among all Member States, the percentage of turnover realised from e-sales ranged from 4 % in Bulgaria and Cyprus to 35 % in Ireland, followed by Belgium and the Czech Republic (both 31 %), Denmark (23 %) and Sweden (21 %) recently published Eurostat data show.

Eurostat: 66 % of companies in Czech Rep that recruited or tried to recruit ICT specialists report difficulties in filling vacancies

Enterprises in all countries reported difficulties in recruiting ICT specialists, particularly in Czech Republic, Slovenia, Luxembourg, Austria, Belgium and Estonia, recently published Eurostat data say.
