Do you have valid home office agreements with your employees and have the associated risks been properly addressed?

You are probably among the many employers who as a result of the sudden onset of the coronavirus pandemic were abruptly forced to adopt a home office policy. Prior to that, home office was probably not allowed in your company at all or maybe only in limited cases as an employee benefit. Be advised that Act No. 262/2006 Coll., Labour Code (the “Labour Code”) and regulations on occupational health and safety fully apply to work performed at home. Latest B2B research results show 55% of middle and top managers demonstrate a  tendency to spend less money in their personal life compared to before C-19. 1/3 of companies declare that demand for their product or services declined. 25% of companies need either to  lay off some employees or shorten work hours.

Czech inflation accelerated in June

Czech inflation surprised on the upside and accelerated from 2.9 to 3.3%, mainly on the back of higher tobacco and alcoholic beverages prices. Prices of services are also not slowing down as quickly, as expected

A third of Czech millennials suffer from long-term stress. Mainly due to material concerns

A third of Czech millennials feel under pressure, with 34% feeling anxious or stressed constantly or most of the time. Yet this is ten percentage points fewer compared to their peers worldwide. These are the results of the nighth edition of the Deloitte Global Millennial Survey 2020. More than 18 thousand millennials and Generation Z respondents from 43 countries participated in the study before the pandemic broke out, including 300 millennials from the Czech Republic.
