Czech National Bank Research Department: Margins of Trade: Czech Firms Before, During and After the Crisis - working paper

The results indicate that the crisis had a more severe impact on small exporting firms and that exports to countries outside the EU gained more prominence in the post-crisis years.

ILO: In Europe long-term unemployment continues to climb despite receding unemployment rates

In both Europe and North America, long-term unemployment remains stubbornly high compared to pre-crisis levels. new ILO report says. Considering that the CEE regional employment growth is projected to remain in negative territory, the expected unemployment reduction is mainly attributable to a reduction in the labour force of 0.7 per cent per year between 2016 and 2018, partly explained by rising emigration rates.
