The Best Cooperation of the Year 2016 Award for applied research goes to Sci-Trace, a unique laser-based material analysis instrument. It is a worldwide unique device that has no global competition so far. Project leaders were the Central European Institute of Technology CEITEC, which belongs to the University of Technology in Brno, and the companies AtomTrace and Tescan. Govt improves access to eKlep legislative process database | Grayling publishes infographic map of Czech legislative process
The Government improved public electronic access to new legislation drafts and the possibility to follow the legislative process in the eKlep database. Also, Grayling issued a clear infographic map of the legislative process in the Czech Republic.

The TTIP impact assessment study by the Association for International Affairs (AMO) and the University of Economics in Prague (VŠE) looks at potential benefits and threats of the agreement of TTIP for the Czech Republic and aims to be a starting point for further debate. Also Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Bärtl said in an interview for Euractiv.cz that "from our perspective, the TTIP negotiations are heading in the right direction."
